"Promises" is the reunion of three stars of the international jazz scene: Michel Portal, an emblematic figure of improvised music in Europe, Jeff Ballard, an American drummer who played with the greatest (Ray Charles, Pat Metheny, Brad Meldhau) and pianist Kevin Hays whose pedigree is no less impressive (Sonny Rollins, Ron Carter). The three musicians explore the entire gamut of jazz, from traditional to modern, with new compositions and unbridled improvisation. Their "Promises" will be kept.
