In the wake of the International Women's Day on March 8, Mezzo offers a special programming dedicated to the importance of women in classical music, dance and jazz. Soloists of course but also conductors, choreographers, jazzwomen... composers ... the voices of women are stronger every day.
MEZZO will feature Women during a special month with over 50 programs: concerts, operas, documentaries, interviews...
• 8 March - Special day: a 100% women programming on our two channels culminating in a exclusive Live Recital from Maria João Pires at the Fondation Singer-Polignac!
• from 6 to 12 March - Special week: every day from 9am to midnight, 100% women programming
• from 6 to 26 March - Special month: evenings from 8.30pm to midnight, 100% women programming
