Although the Wagner Festival was cancelled last summer, Bayreuth is now the home of a totally different lyric event: The Baroque Opera Festival. For this first edition, Max Emanuel Cencic put on stage (he also sang it !) a rare opera by Porpora surrounded with prestigious soloists such as Julia Lezhneva and Franco Fagioli. The great mezzo Vivica Genaux was the other attraction of the festival. 2 Premieres!
