Pianist, Kerem Gorsev was born in Istanbul in 1961. His musical education started at the Istanbul Municipal Conservatory in 1967, and continued at the Istanbul State Conservatory. His love for jazz began during his years at the conservatory and he has performed at the various clubs in Istanbul both with Turkish and foreign musicians. .

Recognized as a talented composer and pianist, Kerem Gorsev has produced many different projects starting with his first album, "Hands and Lips" in 1995, followed by his second album, "I Love May", in 1996, both comprising his own compositions. Kerem Gorsev released his third album, "For Murat" in 1996 and his fourth album," Relaxing" in 1997. His next album was a piano-vocal duet album called "Laid-Back" with Allan Harris. He has also performed in two concerts with Elvin Jones Jazz Machine in Eskisehir Festival in 1998

"November in St.Petersburg" was a special project that was recorded with St.Petersburg Academic Philharmonic Orchestra in St. Petersburg in 1999. The album consists of Kerem Gorsev's compositions. This project was followed two new albums, "Warm Autumn" in 2001 and "Existence" in 2002. All consisting of Kerem Gorsev's compositions, Existence is a cross over between jazz and classical music.
